Walk or Run for the Wetlands

Walk or run in the beautiful Lake District for the Foundation's Walk for the Wetlands! Benefiting preservation efforts in the Windermere region, the Walk for the Wetlands is a fun 5K or 10K with a separate Kids 5K. Pets on leash and push chairs are welcome! All races begin and end in Queen's Park on Park Road. After the races end, there will be an awards ceremony for the top five male and female finishers in each age group, and a fair with arts and crafts by local artisans--all proceeds from items sold will benefit the Foundation. There will also be a catered lunch available for purchase and beer on tap from the Watermill Inn.
